Your four weeks

Every Saturday is built from your week in the app.

  1. From 7 NovIn the app

    Before you start

A few conversations in the app, so your coach knows where you are before the first Saturday.

  2. Sat 14 NovOnline · 10am

    Break the ice

Meet your group. Introductions and small talk, and the phrases that keep you going when you get stuck.

  3. Sat 21 NovOnline · 10am

    Keep going when you’re lost

Asking again, follow-up questions, getting back on track, built from what tripped you up that week.

  4. Sat 28 NovOnline · 10am

    Handle the everyday

An appointment, a problem to explain, a conversation you didn’t start. A rehearsal for Berlin, too.

Each Saturday is 55 minutes: 10 warming up with your coach, 30 of role-plays in pairs while the coach drops in, then 15 of feedback together. Speaking, not a lesson.

Week four isn't on a screen.

Out and about in Berlin

Saturday 5 December, out in Berlin. Missions in pairs at a café and a market hall, with your coach close by.

Ink drawing of a market hall: a learner chats with a cheese seller while his partner waits with a mission card and their coach watches with a coffee.
Markthalle, one of the stops on the day
  1. Ask, order, chatAt a stall, with a stranger, all in German.
  2. A mission eachIn pairs, taking turns, so nobody's on their own.
  3. Your coach, close byThen a drink together to finish.

From practice to people

You've practised on your own. This is where you add people.

People at B1. You’ve taken a course or two, you know the grammar, and you can follow a conversation, but speaking with people still doesn’t come easily. This isn’t a course: nobody teaches you grammar. You spend the time speaking, with structure, a group and a coach. Feeling nervous is normal, and the role-plays are in pairs, not in front of everyone. If you’re still building the basics, start with the app.

Both are great, if you can find them. A good tandem partner is hard to find and harder to keep, and a Sprachcafé is different people every time, with nobody planning it around you. Here you have the same small group at your level every week, a coach who builds each Saturday from your practice in the app (the mistakes you repeat and the moments you freeze), homework in between, and a final week out in Berlin.

You can, but it won’t feed your Saturdays. ChatGPT talks to you the same way whatever your level, and it doesn’t keep track of what you get wrong. The app pitches each conversation at your level, corrects you after every one, and remembers the mistakes you repeat. That record is what your coach uses to plan your role-play, so your practice and your Saturdays work as one.

Ask within 24 hours of the first Saturday and you get a full refund. And if fewer than five people book by 4 November, the bootcamp doesn’t run and everyone is refunded in full.
